Lessons

Our established lesson program offers quality hunt seat for youth and ladies of all ages and abilities on well mannered school horses.  Our students discover how to work with each horse on the ground as well as on its back.  Riding is a life skill that teaches self discipline, communication, and teamwork. Our goal is to develop confident, life long horsemen.

Our instructors are educated professionals in the horse industry.

Golden Ridge offers both private and semi private lessons.  Most lessons are scheduled on the hour and include grooming, tack up, riding and untacking/cooling down.  Our semi private lessons are groups of two to four.  For your convenience, lesson times are available late afternoon, evenings, and Saturday in a session format.

Riders who want to try horse shows are welcome to compete on our school horses and attend small shows throughout the season.  Several of our riders started on our wonderful school horses and have gone on to excel at the highest level in hunter pleasure, hunt seat equitation, and showmanship. We love it when our students succeed in life and on horseback!
